Description abm’s TC-100 Insect Medium for insect cell culture is a modified formulation of Grace’s insect medium to optimize the production of Autographia californica NPV virions.

TC-100 Insect Medium is offered as a basal, serum and antibiotic-free formula to provide the end user flexibility of further supplement and serum addition if required. It is already a fully defined medium. Recommended to add tryptose broth and fetal bovine serum (TM999-500) for growth factors.
Appearance(Turbidity) Off-white to creamish white, homogenous powder.
Appearance(Form) Clear solution at 20gms/L
pH 3.9-4.5 (without Sodium Bicarbonate)
4.7-5.3 (with Sodium Bicarbonate)
Osmolality 220-260 mOsm/Kg (without Sodium Bicarbonate)
230-270 mOsm/Kg (with Sodium Bicarbonate)
Endotoxin Level ≤ 5 EU/ml
Storage Store at 2-8°C away from bright light.
